Keke Palmer, known to step out in a striking heel, was out and about in New York City on Nov. 19 wearing elegant bow-adorned Aquazzura pumps with a pinstriped ensemble.
Palmer looked sharp in a cropped double-breasted blazer featuring gold buttons and a silver brooch. The pinstriped piece was matched to a skirt with the same pattern. With a high-low design, the hemline of the skirt fell to the knee in front and reached the floor in back; the garment was also designed with elegant folds. The multi-hyphenate accessorized her look with a miniature black purse.
Palmer lightened up her color palette with a pair of bright white heels from Aquazzura, which matched her earrings and manicure in addition to complementing the aforementioned pinstripes. She specifically wore the brand’s Bow Tie Pump 105, which retails for $850. The shoe is enclosed in the back but features cutouts along the side, so the style somewhat resembles a slingback pump. In addition to classic features like a pointed toe and stiletto heel, a dainty bow adorns the shoe in the back. Available in a range of colors, the popular style has also been worn by Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.

On Aquazzura’s website, designer Edgaro Osorio describes the shoe: “The ultimate pump with a twist. When designing the Bow Tie Pump, I wanted to represent femininity at its best. Marilyn Monroe used to say, ‘Give a girl the right pair of shoes and she can conquer the world,’ for me, the Bow Tie Pump, with its sleek and sexy design and the playful touch of the bow on the back, is just that.”
Osorio will be honored with the Designer of the Year Award at the upcoming FNAAs on Dec. 4.
