Anora’s Mikey Madison celebrated a Best Actress win at last Sunday’s BAFTAs. Tonight, she is up for the same honor at the SAG Awards. The Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role nominee arrived at the Los Angeles ceremony wearing a silver gown. She accented the look with a diamond necklace from Tiffany & Co.’s archives.

This is Madison’s first time ever at the SAG Awards. Earlier this month, she spoke to People about her big awards season run.
“I’ve gotten a lot of advice,” she began. “I think just to try to stay present, not take yourself too seriously, is advice I think I consistently keep getting. And so I’m like, ‘Oh, am I taking myself, am I being too serious?’ But yeah, I mean, I think it’s really important though. I am constantly reminding myself to stay present, which is sort of a hard thing to remind yourself of.”
She told ELLE in our Women in Hollywood issue that there was so much she didn’t know about the acting world before she entered it. “No one in my family was in the industry,” she began. “I just tried to thrust myself into it with absolutely no knowledge of how anything works, and magically—or with hard work—I’ve gotten to certain places, but it’s been so hard. It was an important lesson to learn, but I wish I trusted my instincts as an actor more earlier on. I think there were definitely times where I felt suffocated or taken over by other people’s perspectives, but now I know that my opinion and my voice are really important.”
