Meghan Markle is visiting Colombia alongside husband Prince Harry, stopping by the National Centre for the Arts in Bogota on Aug. 15. Markle dressed for the occasion in a patterned dress and brown leather mules from Jimmy Choo.
Markle and Prince Harry made the visit to South America upon the invitation of the country’s vice president Francia Márquez; on the trip, the couple continues their efforts to keep young people safe online.
While visiting the Delia Zapata Art Center, Markle sat beside her husband wearing a patterned sundress in shades of red, pink and white. The dress featured dainty spaghetti straps, a sweetheart neckline and a slit along the ankle-length skirt. Prince Harry complemented his wife’s outfit in a light beige suit which he paired with a blue collared shirt and tan loafers.
Markle matched her dress to a pair of strappy brown sandals from Jimmy Choo. Known as the Etana mule, the shoe is offered by the brand in a range of colors and retails for $875. The sandal is made of Nappa leather and features three narrow straps that uniquely intersect near the toe. Meanwhile, the 50 mm sculpted heel is rounded at the bottom and accents the brown leather upper with a tortoiseshell design. The sandals ultimately emphasized the laidback elegance of her summertime outfit.
Markle, who is the founder of the organization Archwell alongside Prince Harry, has continued to demonstrate this year that she often favors classic designs when it comes to footwear. She slipped on neutral-colored pumps from Aquazzura for the Royal Salute Polo Challenge in April and later kept it minimalistic in black T-strap sandals in Nigeria in May. She opted for a more unique design when she wore Burberry snakeskin heeled sandals during the same trip to Nigeria with her husband, with the shoes featuring a distinctive folded strap across the toes.
